Summer Solstice: A Time For Reflection and New Beginnings

The summer solstice celebrates the power of the sun on Mother Earth and her people. It is the longest day and shortest night of the year. The summer solstice marks the beginning of summer and a time for self-reflection. It is an opportunity to get rid of old patterns that are no longer of use to us, to open new doors and set new goals. It is a time to look within ourselves and decide what we really want out of life. We should all embrace this day and use the power of the solstice to assist us in growing and bettering ourselves.

Chinese medicine recognizes the fire element of the sun which symbolizes strength, force, courage, initiative, fertility, and rejuvenation. Emotions accompanied with the fire element are joy, empowerment, and well-being. It is a time to celebrate not only yourself but also those around you. It is also a time to celebrate rebirth and encourage change. Let the power of the sun enhance your connection with life, love, happiness, and health.

With this year’s summer solstice we encourage you all to embrace a new beginning and let yourself blossom into a “new you”.

” It is a time to look within ourselves and decide what we really want out of life. ”

This statement clearly defines us this month. New beginnings, changes, new ideas, and goals. We made the decision to say goodbye to one of our blogs {Entangled Botanicals By Ashley November}. With the demands of Motherhood, a new job as a Florist, and a new flourishing relationship, time is a very demanding commodity.
